Ahead of the student union polls, a debate was held on Monday between the three presidential candidates—Vani, Anupam and Sachin Delhi University’s Hansraj College. Issues related to Infrastructure, facilities at library, crackdown on hooliganism and several other affecting the students took the centre stage at the debate.
Probably inspired by the JNU’s presidential debate, the event marked the beginning of a new culture at the Delhi University college.
Vani, Anupam and Sachin, respectively, represented the panel of ‘Change,’ ‘Nayab’ and ‘Revolution’.

Sachin said that he was proud of being a Hansrajian, and would be proud to be the union president as well.
Hansraj College principal Rama Sharma said that the debate was organised to ensure transparency and discipline ahead of the elections.
