PLACEMENT CELL SOCIETIES IN DU
Placement Cell has been toiling away in all dimensions to provide top-notch jobs and internships. Starting from contacting the HR, to inviting the companies for various drives in the college, to conducting various sorts of seminars, Placement Cell has been working at a growing pace for students of the college.

For the session 2017-18, Placement Cell started with an Orientation Programme which was a huge success. Placement Cell conducted interviews for selecting associate and coordinating members.

The Placement Cell looks after the growth and development of its members and had begun the academic session by organizing workshops on topics such as cold calling and email writing.

Up till now we have been able to convert 45+ companies for internships, which include names such as Mirus, Leverage Edu, Qrius, DU Insights, People Kapital for profiles as such as HR Intern, Marketing Intern, Business Development Intern and NGOs like Win over Cancer, Aiesec and Aspire.

We have given an opportunity to the students to enter into the corporate world by inviting companies such as FIS, Genpact, L&T Construction, Inshorts, iimjobs, Finedge and many more. They offered packages as high as 4-4.5 lacs per annum.

Placement Cell publishes educational articles on its Facebook Page, twice a week, which would be much useful for students in their future.

Several seminars were conducted in college campus by Placement Cell, like GD-PI seminar in collaboration with IBS, Resumè building seminar in collaboration with Talerang.

The Placement Cell has also stepped up to fulfill its social responsibility. In collaboration with the NSS, it organised a seminar on ‘Rebuilding Hope’ which had speakers from NGOs like Goonj and Teach for India.

Embarkation: The Job Fair, 2018, was conducted by the Placement Cell, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College, on 19th March, 2018. Twelve prestigious companies visited the college campus for recruitment of final year students from all over the Delhi/NCR. The event witnessed a footfall of around 300-400 students, out of which, 40-50 students got the final call letters, from different companies, offering distinct profiles. All in all, with standout reviews and feedbacks, the event was a huge success.
