DU Semester End Results (may) be Delayed

DUTA protest to be continued by boycotting the evaluation process.

“We have raised our concerns with the administration multiple times in the recent past. We have also protested at the UGC against the autonomy scheme and the March 5 circular on reservation but to no avail. Teachers are forced to resort to this form of protest. The university is running in an autocratic manner,” said DUTA president, Rajib Ray.

As the protest extends against the delay in appointment and absorption of ad-hoc teachers and Centre’s autonomy move, the students are raising conern about the possible delay in the results.
The results are usually announced in the month of July, but if it is delayed even more, many third year students may have to face problems in Post-Graduate admissions.
There are approximately 1.15 lakh under-graduate and post-graduate students whose results are to be evaluated. The boycott call given by DUTA on May 9 has led to anxiety in the students.
DUTA will be holding a General Body (GB) meeting on May 21 to decide further course of action.

Stay tuned.
