The Admission process at Delhi University does not end by just clearing the cutoffs . The long and varied process for Delhi University admission starts before the cut-offs are released, which includes filling the common admission form of DU.
The admission procedure includes visiting the Delhi University portal du.ac.in, a username and password must be created for the admission portal. After finishing this, a registration form will appear which requires the student to choose his/her course of interest and uploading the required documents. Registration must be completed by paying the fee through Credit Card /Debit Card and Net Banking.
After the cut-off list is declared, the student must log in to the University Admission portal if he /she has met the cut-off requirement for a certain course. Right after doing this, the student needs to choose the Delhi University affiliated college where he/she met the cut-off requirement of the course and fill the required form and submit. With the completion of these two steps, the student needs to go to the college for admission carrying a photocopy of the form and the original supporting documents with 3 passport size photos.
The documents need to presented and submitted at the college for verification. The student will receive an acknowledgement slip from the college which needs to be kept safe since it will work as the temporary college id. College fee needs to be submitted online. Punctuality will help you get the admission easily, reaching college after the prescribed time will result in losing the seat. If the student has met the requirements of subsequent cut-off list then he/she needs to cancel the admission at previous college and do the same process all over again at the new one.
Cancellation will result in you not getting admitted to the college again. The students can’t make more than one cancellation per cut-off list. 1k is charged as the cancellation fee, remaining fee is adjusted automatically with new course /college fee.
