On August 7, the Delhi government released a notification, authorising directors and principals of varsities, colleges and educational centres to organise learners’ licence test and issue certificates on campus which will be valid for up to six months. The policy was formally set in motion on August 18. According to Kailash Gahlot, Delhi transport minister, the scheme is anticipated to prove beneficial for around two lakh students enrolled in higher education institutions. This year, the Delhi University has received 1,44,248 registrations from male aspirants, 1,34,297 registrations from female aspirants and 29 registrations from the other category. June 9, 2018: Delhi University (DU) opened the portal for admission in various Undergraduate Courses on May 15, 2018. This year, for many Undergraduate Courses, an entrance exam will be taking place. The registration for the UG programmes ended at 11.59 pm last night. This year, there has been an increase in the applications, reaching over two and a half lakh registered students. On Today I.e, June 7, online application for admission 2018 is closing of University of Delhi. The candidates are advised to log on official website of Delhi University, www.du.ac.in to fill the University of Delhi admission form online. These forms were made available online from May 15 for different undergraduate, post graduate and M.Phil/PhD programme.
