There were 150 students who had registered under the category and about 60 to 70 students turned out for the trials at the centralised colleges. The Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) trials will be continued till June 21, and all the trials will be held at 13 centralised colleges for 15 activities as listed under the ECA category. This year around 1.75 lakh students have registered under various categories this year. The categories such as theater and debating are also experiencing a high amount of turnout. The University of Delhi, which houses the most sought after colleges for students across India, on Thursday advised its colleges to keep cut-offs for admission “realistic” this year. This statement by the varsity comes after it stated that not more than 20% seats are filled even after the first three cut-off lists are declared.
