Kabaddi is an ancient sport being played in our country for a very long time. Modern Kabaddi as we know it is being played in our country since 1930.
VIVO ProKabaddi League (earlier known as Pro Kabaddi) first started in 2014 by Mashal Sports Pvt. Ltd. and Star India Pvt. Ltd. In the first season, a total of eight teams participated in ProKabaddi, and ever since the number has grown to 12 teams.
One of these twelve teams is Dabang Delhi KC. The team is also referred to as ‘The Eagles’ as the eagle resonates Dabang. The eagle showcases cleverness, valour, robustness and immortality, and is also considered “ruler of the skies” and messenger of the highest Gods. With these qualities, the eagle became a symbol of brains and the brawns. The Dabang Delhi KC logo has 2 elements to it. The wings exemplify the wings of an eagle; the shield is an ideogram of a warrior and the gold represents the desire of always being the No. 1 team.
The Head Coach of the team is Krishan Kumar Hooda and the captain of the team is Joginder Singh Narwal.
Dabang Delhi is a venture of DO IT Sports Management India Pvt. Ltd. and is founded by Ms Radha Kapoor, a creative entrepreneur and the only female team owner in the league, promoting the spirit of “women entrepreneurship and empowerment”.
DO IT Sports Management Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated as a part of DO IT Creations Group with the motive and vision of encouraging and promoting the of sports, athletes, sports facilities and such events Pan India. The company entered the Indian sports eco-system with its first acquisition in the Pro Kabaddi League 2014 with the purchase of the Delhi franchise ‘Dabang Delhi KC’.

It is one of the three teams that represent North India in Vivo ProKabaddi League.
Dabang Delhi KC made their first VIVO ProKabaddi Playoffs appearance in season 6 and one of the most promising contributors to their strive was rookie raider Naveen Kumar, who finished the season as their elite raider and the season’s eight best raiders.
The Team played in full form with the utmost dedication in all the earlier seasons but unfortunately, they didn’t win any championship. But that doesn’t stop these Dabang players of Delhi from performing with their full potential in the ongoing Season 7 of VIVO ProKabaddi League.
Being a socially responsible team, DBDKC has taken up the initiative of joining hands with multiple NGOs across the country to generate awareness amongst people. The team has partnered with CRY NGO for supporting the rights and betterment of the conditions of the girl child and in India. Moreover, to spread awareness about the education of children, they have partnered with Plan India NGO. They have also joined hands with Swecchha, and WaterAid India NGOs to increase the awareness about increasing depletion and scarcity of natural vegetation, resources, and water. Furthermore, for the protection of wildlife, they’ve partnered with WWF India.
