Hindu College is one of the colleges under the affiliation of University of Delhi in Delhi, India. Founded in 1899, it offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in science, humanities and social sciences and commerce. The college is also among the oldest colleges in Delhi.
2.Sri Venkateswara College
Sri Venkateswara College was the visionary realization of the spirited vision and dream of three stalwarts in the public domain Smt. Durga Bai Deshmukh, Dr. K.L. Rao and Dr. C. Anna Rao. Fired with the zeal of promoting the cause of education, the college was set up at New Delhi under the benign auspices of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (T.T.D.) in 1961.
The foundation stone for the construction of a full fledged college building in the spacious site of nearly 15 acres provided at Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi, was laid on 20th August’1961 appropriately and auspiciously by Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, India’s outstanding teacher, scholar and statesman.

Miranda House, residential college for women, is one of the premier Women’s Institutions of Delhi University. It was founded in 1948 by the then Vice-Chancellor Sir Maurice Gwyer; its foundation stone was laid by Lady Edwina Mountbatten on March 7 in the same year. Located in the University campus, Miranda House is built in warm red brick with cool and spacious corridors. Its original design was by the renowned architect Walter George, the college shares an architectural affinity with other colonial educational institutions of the country. In the past five decades, as the college has grown, several other buildings have been added to its original design. It is now declared a heritage building and work is on to maintain its pristine glory.
5.Janki Devi Memorial College
Janki DeviMemorialCollege was founded in 1959 by the famous Gandhian Shri Brij Krishan Chandiwala in the memory of his mother Smt. Janki Devi.
The imposing brick building stands in idyllic surroundings among lush green lawns, a profusion of bright hued flowers, the rose garden and the rockery.

Jesus and Mary College, a constituent college of the University of Delhi, was founded in 1968 by the Congregation of the Religious of Jesus and Mary, a religious congregation founded by Saint Claudine Thevenet in Lyons (France) in 1818.

Maitreyi College, a constituent College of Delhi University, was founded in 1967 by Delhi Administration. 8.Kamala nehru college
Kamala Nehru College is located at the August Kranti Marg, New Delhi. It was established in the year 1964 and is affiliated to University of Delhi. In 2017, the college ranked 16th in arts colleges and was also rated under top 28 commerce colleges in India by India Today.In 2017 it was awarded an “A grade” by NAAC.
