Almost every student aims at getting admission in DU but with the succeeding year there is increase in percentage of students too. Shubham Jain, a second year law student wrote to Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) regarding dust being everywhere. He wrote to them for getting roads outside ramjas college to be improved Delhi High Court has also told DPCC to immediately repair any cut or holes in roads for work as these are a major reason for air pollution caused but still a student was forced to write about it. He wrote in the letter that roads in front of Ramjas College were cut down for laying Delhi Jal Board Pipelines and roads are not repaired from then and it's been months. Plea regarding DU records adjourned by High Court

On Tuesday a plea was adjourned by HC regarding the disclosure of students who passed Bachelor of Arts course in 1982 under RTI act. The hearing is postponed to July 25 by Justice V. Kameswar Rao as DU's Lawyer was in Gujarat to caste his vote in elections. It's the same year when Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi also cleared his exam. Advocate Trideep Pais, representative of RTI activists argued that convocation is a public event but DU is denying to disclosethe results of a particular year only. The petition was filed by varsity challenging CIC's order allowing activist Neeraj to check the records. DU takes suggestions from teachers on curriculum revision

Delhi University on Tuesday said that a meeting between the Under-Graduate Curriculum Revision Committee - 2019 (UGCRC) and the Delhi University Teachers’ Association was held to discuss the concerns of the teachers regarding the need to revise the curriculum from the coming academic year. The university said that it clarified several issues raised and said that it would make the process more participatory as a team of at least 3-8 teachers would work on each course, thereby decentralising the process. The DUTA said they were reassured by the committee that the university’s best academic practices would not be compromised under any circumstances. The registration process for first round of medical counselling has started from 15th of March and last date to register for it is 24 March. It's principal was sent on leave forbeing alleged by financial irregularities.Members of DU's executive council andDUTA reached the campus and protestedtill the orders were taken aback by GB Chairman Deepak Markwah.Marwah said GB wanted to take a fairdecision so they didn't wanted any strifefrom principal or teachers and that's whyhe sent principal on leave.The irregularities were not following financial rules regarding procurement andusage of provident fund.
